Daily inspection of diesel pump pumps

Daily inspections of diesel pumps are important steps to ensure their normal operation and extend their service life. Here are some common daily inspections of diesel engine water pumps:
Appearance inspection: Check the appearance of the water pump showing any signs of damage, leakage or corrosion. Make sure that the seal is intact.
Cooling water level: Check whether the cooling liquid water level is within the appropriate range. If the pump is lacking when working, it may cause overheating and damage.
Cooling quality: Check the color and clearness of the coolant. If the coolant becomes turbid or discolored, it may be due to dirt or impurities. Need to replace the coolant regularly.
Fan belt: Check the tension and wear of the fan band. Subconscious or wear fan bands may cause the performance of water pumps to decrease.
Water pump belt wheel: Check the state of the pump belt wheel to ensure that there are no cracks or damage.
Seal: Check whether the water pump seal is normal and whether there is any leakage. The sealing problem may cause the cooling liquid leak, which will affect the normal operation of the diesel engine.
Leakage inspection: Check the pump itself any signs of leakage, such as the cooling fluid leakage or the lubricating liquid leakage of the pump itself.
Pump body and connecting parts: Check whether the pump itself and the pipes and connections connected to the diesel engine are loose or damaged.
Clean: regularly clean the water pump and surrounding areas to prevent dust and dirt accumulation.
Regular maintenance: Regular maintenance and maintenance according to the manufacturer's suggestions. This may include replacing the coolant, replacement of seals, inspections and adjusting the belt.
